Windhoek Hosea Kutako International Airport (IATA: WDH, ICAO: FYWH) is the independent international airport assisting the Namibian capital town of Windhoek. Located 45 km east of the town, it is Namibia's major airport with international connexions and dealt 672,582 riders in 2007. The airport is named after Herero leader Hosea Kutako. During the South African line of work of Namibia, the airport was named J.G. Strijdom Airport, after a pro-Apartheid South African Prime Minister.
