Ürümqi Diwopu International Airport (IATA: URC, ICAO: ZWWW) (simplified Chinese: 乌鲁木齐地窝堡国际机场; pinyin: Wūlǔmùqí Dìwōpù Guójì Jīcháng) is turn up in Diwopu, a suburban area north west of Ürümqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China. The airport is 16 kilometer off from business district Ürümqi. It is a focal point town for China Southern Airlines and Hainan Airlines.

History

Ürümqi Airport was opened to foreign riders in 1973, and has been the emergency districting dry land for air hose to Europe and due west Asia.
