Rantoul National Aviation Center (ICAO: KTIP, FAA LID: TIP), also known as Frank Elliott Field, is a public airport turn up in Rantoul, a village in Champaign County, Illinois, United States. It is owned by the Village of Rantoul. The airport was constituted in 1993 after the closing of Chanute Air Force Base (which was constituted as Chanute Field in 1917).
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter place identifier for the FAA and IATA, Rantoul National Aviation Center is portioned TIP by the FAA but has no appellative from the IATA (which allotted TIP to Tripoli International Airport in Tripoli, Libya).
