Târgu Mureş International Airport (IATA: TGM, ICAO: LRTM) is an airport turn up near the city of Târgu Mureş , Mureş County, in central Romania.
Opened in 1961, it assists the town of Târgu Mureş (pop. 150,000) as good Mureş and Harghita counties.
Formerly known as Vidrasău (for the town 17 kilometre outside of Târgu Mureş where it is turn up), it was renamed Transilvania Târgu Mureş in August 2006.
Târgu Mureş Airport furnishes services for an area of 24,500 foursquare kilometres, with some 2.6 million occupants.
The airport has undergone extensive redevelopment. In October 2005 a new international depot was opened, and Category II instrument districting system was set up, letting the deal of voyages 24 60 minutes a solar day.
