Tawau Airport (Malay : Lapangan Terbang Tawau) (IATA: TWU, ICAO: WBKW) once (Tawau International Airport) is an airport turn up in Tawau, a city in the province of Sabah in Malaysia. History
During the early solar days, Tawau airport was turn up on Jalan Utara, literally known as Northern route approximately two land mile forth from Tawau. The airport was officially opened in 1968 by the former Transport Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Haji Sardon. It was only used to supply to little aircraft, such as Fokker 50.
