Cap. FAP Víctor Montes Arias International Airport (IATA: TYL, ICAO: SPYL) is an airport assisting Talara, Peru. It is run by CORPAC S.A. (Corporacion Peruana De Aeropuertos Y Aviacion Comercial S.A.) a regime run organisation that manages the direction of Peruvian airports. It is an eminent airport in the Piura Region. It is used both as a assuagement airport for Cap. FAP Guillermo Concha Iberico International Airport and for faster access to the famous Máncora fall back. It is now not assisted by anybody air hose.
History
During World War II, the airport was used by the United States Army Air Force Sixth Air Force support the South American coastline against Axis influences pigboats. - 91st Reconnaissance Squadron (first Photographic Group) 1943-1944 (B-25/F-10 Mitchell)
In July 1944, the last aircraft digressed from the airport, and most Americans go away. A few stay manning a communicating station functioned by the Army Communications Service 153d Communications Squadron. The communicating installation stay open until January 31st, 1947, for the most part grooming Peruvian armed forces force in communicating.
