University Park Airport (IATA: SCE, ICAO: KUNV, FAA LID: UNV) is a public airport turn up in Centre County, Pennsylvania. The airport assists the cities of State College and Bellefonte, and the skirting area . The airport is owned by The Pennsylvania State University, but the depot construction and parking area  are owned and functioned by the Centre County Airport Authority. It is assisted by several regional air hose, tie to hubs in the nor'-east and midwest. Services at the airport include a fixed ground operator (FBO), fuel, voyage program services, aircraft fix, and depot renting. Amenities include a snack counter in the depot construction, a airplane pilot lounge, and conference appartment. Taxi and limo services, and auto rents are also available.

History

Starting in the 1950s, private airplane pilots in the area  had build a little airport on district rent from Penn State, merely northward of State College. Penn State take for granted the rent and plus of the airport in 1972. The Centre County Airport Authority was made to oversee the development of the airport. A lasting rider depot was built in 1985. A new rider depot was finished in 1993, and shipment functioning travel to the original depot construction. The airport underwent a landing track enlargement labor in 1997, and the independent landing track was continued to its present length. A new civil aviation depot was built in 2001.

Future programs for the airport include building of a control tower and an instrument districting system set about in 2007. University Park Airport is the busiest airport in the U.S. without an on-site air traffic control tower.
