Sheikh ul Alam Airport usually known as Srinagar Airport, is an international airport in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India (IATA: SXR, ICAO: VISR).

It has been named after 1 of the greatest saints of Kashmir, Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani, popularly known to Kashmiris as Sheikh-ul-Alam.

Currently the airport has undergone extensive redevelopments, including better the landing track, a new depot for going and reaching, air spans and other operational installations, and was kick off on 14 February 2009 by an Air India voyage from Dubai . It is also expected that regular international voyages will function out of Srinagar. At present, scheduled international voyages function only to Dubai. Seasonal Hajj pilgrim's journey charters to Jeddah also functioned from Srinagar and regular scheduled voyages to Jeddah are anticipated to committee within the 1st one-half of 2009.
