Rovaniemi Airport (Finnish: Rovaniemen lentoasema) (IATA: RVN, ICAO: EFRO) is the 4th largest airport in Finland by one-year figure of riders, turn up approximately ten klicks northward from the town of Rovaniemi in the Finnish district of Lapland. The Arctic Circle, which is currently slow locomoting southward, cuts across the independent landing track (03/21) closer to its northern finish. History
The airport was built in 1940 with 2 grass-surfaced landing track. During the Continuation War it assisted as an airbase and provide centre for German Luftwaffe.
