The Reus Airport (IATA: REU, ICAO: LERS) is turn up by the beaches of Costa Daurada, equidistant in relation to the cities of Constantí and Reus and about 7.5 km from the town of Tarragona, in Catalonia, Spain.

A recent inflow of voyages has directed to a dramatic increase in rider figure at the airport. In 1995, about 500,000 riders passed through the airport. In 2004 this figure more than duplicate to 1.1 million and in 2005 it hit 1.4 million.

The increase in rider figure has take several improvement tasks at the airport. The new reaches hallway is full operational, and the going depot redevelopments are underway. The check-in area  has already been finished.

The airport has a big sum of money of holidaymaker traffic from riders designated for the beach fall back of Salou and Cambrils. It is also close to 1 of Europe's biggest theme parks, Port Aventura. In addition, riders travel to the Mountains of Prades, a Mediterranean wood in the comarca of Baix Camp. The Priorat, a neighbour district, is known for the characteristic of its vinos.

Some low-fare air hose use Reus Airport in location of service to Barcelona, as the town is 75km to the northward and is able to be hit by public and private transport.

The airport is currently a Ryanair ground (since October 2008) and has two aircrafts found there (three from June 2009).

Airport from Aircraft

There are now three bus route from the Airport. One jitney travels direct to Barcelona, another runs on electrical circuit between the Airport - La Pineda - Salou - Cambrils and dorsum to the airport once again. The last path travels direct into Tarragona City.

The coach timetables change more or less throughout the yr but the coaches are positioned on to cooccur with the voyage arrivals and going. As there are only a limited figure of voyages coming and going away each solar day, this system works rather good.

Some voyages are beneath function on a seasonal ground & some are Charter voyages during the Summer Months.
