Penang International Airport (IATA: PEN, ICAO: WMKP), antecedently known as Bayan Lepas International Airport, is located in the Bayan Lepas area  of Penang, Malaysia. The airport is turn up 16km (ten land mile) southward of Georgetown, the capital town of Penang. Airport installations include an incoming and outgoing duty free store, eating house, bank, foreign cash exchange business office and auto renting.

Penang International is a medium-sized airport with good connexions with leading towns in South East Asia. Passengers getting or going away from the northward will have a fabulous position of George Town, Butterworth and the Penang Bridge. Waiting clips for check-in and baggage demands are comparatively short compared to other bigger regional airports. The airport is not crowded and basic installations are available for users.

There are ongoing treatments between airport operator, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), Ministry of Transportation, and Asia's biggest low cost bearer, AirAsia approximately launch Malaysia's 3rd low cost bearer depot at the airport.
