Norwich International Airport (IATA: NWI, ICAO: EGSH), also known as Norwich Airport, is an airport in the City of Norwich within Norfolk, England 2.8 NM (5.2 kilometre; 3.2 mi) northward of the town center and on the border of the town's suburbias.

Along with a long history of voyages to Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam via KLM Cityhopper (once KLM UK), it offers voyages to various destinations in the United Kingdom and Europe. Besides the commercial voyages, charter operators also function out of Norwich, winging crews to North Sea gaseous state rigs, and dealing VIP private aircraft and eggbeater charter voyages to a fault.

Norwich Airport has a CAA Public Use Aerodrome Licence (Number P723) that lets voyages for the public transport of riders or for winging direction.

Facilities

The Airport has 1 landing track (denominated 09/27), 1,841 m (6,040 foot) in length. A little 1,285 m (4,216 foot) landing track (denominated 04/22) was closed in 2006, and is currently used as a taxi strip. The airport has 9 parkland stands for commercial aircraft.
