Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (IATA: EWN, ICAO: KEWN, FAA LID: EWN) is a public airport turn up 3 land mile (five kilometre) southeastward of central downtown (CBD) of New Bern, a city in Craven County, North Carolina, USA.

Coastal Carolina Regional Airport assists 4 counties in Eastern North Carolina. They include Craven County, Pamlico County, Carteret County, and Jones County. History

The airport was antecedently named Craven County Regional Airport, Simmons-Nott Airport, and New Bern Regional Airport. Simmons-Nott come up from North Carolina Senator Furnifold McLendel Simmons who was present at the 1931 dedication of the new depot. During an air functioning for the dedication, United States Marine Corps Lieutenant Joel Nott was assassination. Senator Simmons claimed that Lt. Nott's named be added to the airport to pay court for the fallen armed forces military officer.

On August 8, 1941, the Marine Corps rent the airport to get an outlying field of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point. It was named Camp Mitchell. In the start of 1942 the Army used the field of force for anti-submarine patrols. the field was closed for seven calendar month during 1942 while 2 hardsurfaced landing track and a landing track visible lighting system were set up. The 1st Marine set about to arrive at the field in February of 1943. Among the units to railroad train at the field of force during the conflict was Marine Aircraft Group 34 and scrapper squadrons VMF-324 and VMF-511. Craven Regional Airport has antecedently been serviced by Midway Airlines, American Airlines, Piedmont Airlines, Charter Express and National Airlines.
