Chester County G. O. Carlson Airport (IATA: CTH, ICAO: KMQS, FAA LID: MQS) is a public-use airport turn up 2 land mile (three kilometre) due west of the central downtown of Coatesville, in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is owned by the Chester County Area Airport Authority.

Chester County's airport identifier was once 40N, but it has recenty modified to MQS. The airport is adjacent to Keystone Heliport. JetDirect Aviation, a fixed ground operator, and The Flying Machine Cafe, a eating house, are both turn up on field, near the main business office. History

The airport 1st opened May 1, 1928 as Coatesville Airport and was owned and functioned by the City of Coatesville. In 1959, Chester County bought the airport and took over functioning. At this clip, the Chester County Area Airport Authority was characteristic and the airport was renamed to the Chester County Airport. After only 3 yr, in 1962, the airport was renamed to its current name in honour of the 1st Authority chair, G. O. Carlson.

This landing track will not replace the current landing track, but just add a new option for coming and going away traffic. A control tower is also being talked about for the time to come, if traffic increases.
