Muskegon County Airport (IATA: MKG, ICAO: KMKG) is a public airport turn up 4 land mile (6 kilometre) southward of the town of Muskegon in Muskegon County, Michigan, USA. The airport has 2 landing track. It is largely used for civil aviation but is also assisted by Northwest Airlines winging turbo-propeller plane aeroplanes to its Detroit hub. The airport and the county of Muskegon are now working with a advisor to reconstruct and add jet plane service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport through the little community air service development programme.
The airport hosted an airshow named the Muskegon Air Fair until 2006. Due to worsening attending and budget deficit, the air just was location on respites for the summertime of 2007. A cycle drum up known as Muskegon Bike Time was made to take its location. Following the success of the cycle drum up the airshow was for good call off by its forming board in September 2007.
