Malabo Airport or Saint Isabel Airport (IATA: SSG, ICAO: FGSL) is an airport turn up at Punta Europa, Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea. The airport is named after the capital, Malabo, about nine km to the east. Until the uncovering of oil within the boundary lines of Equatorial Guinea during the mid-90s, the airport was a tin-roofed hut that only serviced 1 international voyage, the authority was the independent user of the airport. Today it is used principally by 2 opposing grouping; the Petroleum industry and environmentalists. During the Nigerian Civil War, the airport was used as a ground for voyages into Biafra.

The old atomic number 50 hut that used to recognise reaches has been replaced by a modern airport lounge. The airport currently has a comfy sum of money of foreign traffic, although divisions of the landing track are in demand of fix. Despite recent advancement, Malabo airport is 1 of only 2 paved airports in Equatorial Guinea, consorting to the CIA  world factbook's entry for the commonwealth, with the other being Bata Airport, turn up on mainland Africa. The depots is able to service big aircraft such as the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 or the C-130 Hercules. In 2001, the airport assisted 34,500 riders and that figure has since come up.
