Metz-Nancy-Lorraine Airport or Aéroport de Metz-Nancy-Lorraine (IATA: ETZ, ICAO: LFJL) is an airport assisting the Lorraine région of France. It is turn up in Goin, 16.5 kilometre southeastward of Metz, (both communes of the Moselle département) and northward of Nancy (a commune of Meurthe-et-Moselle).
It opened to the public on October 28th, 1991 and replaced both Nancy-Essey and Metz-Frescaty airports. The airport is open 24/7. The landing track has been continued to 3050 m and renovated in mid-2006 to be able to care all typewrites of big aircraft. The depot construction is approximately 7500 sqm and is able to adapt up to 500,000 riders per yr with 14 check-in desks, two entrances (a 3rd 1 shall be added before long) and two baggage demand belts. The freight depot is 3,600 sqm and is able to deal up to 60,000 short ton of freight rate per yr. The airport was a regional hub for DHL from 2000 to 2006, with voyages to Toulouse, Nice, Marseilles, Cologne, Brussels, Paris, Vitoria and East-Midlands.
