Long Island MacArthur Airport (IATA: ISP, ICAO: KISP, FAA LID: ISP) is a public airport turn up on Long Island, in Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County, New York, United States. It is 7 land mile (11 kilometre) nor'-east of the central downtown of the Town of Islip, which owns and functions the airport. History

The airport set about in 1942 as 3 paved landing track constructed by the Civil Aeronautics Administration (predecessor of the Federal Aviation Administration) during World War II. Lockheed Aircraft Corporation constructed the 1st depot at the airport in 1944. The Town of Islip constructed a depot in 1949, after taking the airport dorsum from the Army Air Corps at the finish of the conflict.
