Lihue Airport (IATA: LIH, ICAO: PHLI, FAA LID: LIH) is a state-owned public-use airport turn up in the Līhuʻe CDP on the southeast seashore of the island of Kauaʻi in Kauai County, Hawaiʻi, United States, 2 naut mi east of the centre of the CDP.
The airport does not assist as a hub for anybody air hose. Numerous inter-island voyages are available daily. During the 1970s United Airlines used DC-8-71's between Los Angeles and Lihue. United Airlines has nonstop daily service to the mainland towns of San Francisco and Los Angeles, and weekly nonstop service to Denver. American Airlines also offers nonstop daily service to Los Angeles; and late US Airways set about offering nonstop service to Phoenix, Arizona. Alaska Airlines has also denoted a new service to Seattle which set about in October 2007. The airport's landing track is able to deal aeroplanes up to and including the size of it of a DC-10.
