Fort Smith Regional Airport (IATA: FSM, ICAO: KFSM) is a joint civil-military public airport turn up 3 land mile (five kilometre) southeastward of the central downtown (CBD) of Fort Smith, a town in Sebastian County, Arkansas, USA. FSM is largely used for army aviation for Fort Chaffee and the 188th Fighter Wing (188 FW) of the Arkansas Air National Guard, but is also assisted by 3 commercial air hose. Most commercial airline traffic in the district spring up out of Tulsa International Airport (TUL), 120 land mile (190 kilometre) northwest of Fort Smith, as good as Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) in Highfill, Arkansas, about 85 land mile (137 kilometre) driving distance northward of Fort Smith.
