Zia International Airport (IATA: DAC, ICAO: VGZR) (Bengali: Zia Antorjatik Bimanbôndor) is the biggest airport in Bangladesh turn up in Kurmitola, 11 NM (20 kilometre; 13 mi) northward of Dhaka, with Dhaka Cantonment on 1 side and Uttara Residential Area on the other. It set about functioning in 1981, and was named after Bangladesh's former president, Ziaur Rahman. It is the home office and hub of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, GMG Airlines, Best Air and United Airways (Bangladesh).

It has an area  of 1,981 acres (802 ha). Nearly 52 per cent of the commonwealth's international and domestic arrivals and going take place through Zia Airport, while land's 2nd biggest international airport at Chittagong deals approximately 17 per cent of riders. About 4 million international and 1 million domestic riders and 150,000 short ton of freight rate and get off pass through Zia International Airport each year.
