The airport offers scheduled daily nonstop voyages to leading towns in Canada, Europe and the United States. Calgary International Airport is the ground town of WestJet Airlines, is a hub of flag bearer Air Canada, and is also a hub for Air Canada Jazz. Apron VII is also used as a freight installation, principally for FedEx Express and Purolator Courier. FedEx is amongst the freight bearers that use Calgary as a hub at Apron VII. Purolator has a installation in the northwest corner of the field adjacent to Apron VII. Apron VII used to maintain merely 2 Boeing 727s but has been able to parkland an additional 3 McDonnell Douglas MD-11s for FedEx since November 2004.

General air power
General air power installations are turn up on the southward side of the field. These installations include a Shell Aerocenter, an Esso Avitat, Calgary Flight Training, a usages construction, and more.
Runways
There is a architectural plan to construct a 14,000 foot (4,267 m) parallel landing track east of the airport (16L/34R).
Runway 16/34 is the longest landing track in Canada. This is able to be ascribed to the comparatively high lift, 3,557 foot (1,084 m), of the airport and the take to back up the biggest rider aircraft types. Aircraft claim more distance to start out at higher lifts, because of the decreased air denseness connected with height.
