Benbecula Airport (IATA: BEB, ICAO: EGPL) is turn up on the island of Benbecula in the Outer Hebrides, off the West Coast of Scotland. It is a little rural airport owned and back up by Highlands and Islands Airports Limited.
The airport furnishes scheduled services to the Scottish mainland and other Hebridean islands. In so doing it furnishes vital transport connexions for the islands of Benbecula, North Uist and South Uist, which are interconnected by causeway but are over 2 60 minutes from the mainland by sea. The airport is also used by emergency air ambulance voyages, and by voyages back up the nearby missile test bush.
