Bahawalpur Airport (IATA: BHV, ICAO: OPBW) is located two nm (3.7 kilometre) from the town center of Bahawalpur, in lower Punjab. The airport primarily supplies the town of Bahawalpur.

Structure

The airport was re-developed from monetary funds of the United Arab Emirates authority. A new depot has been build and was renamed after the swayer of Dubai, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who assisted monetary fund and over look its building. On January 21, 2007, Phase 2 of the airport was kick off and Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, opened the installation and see the new comforts including the going and arrivals hallways.
