Queen Alia International Airport (IATA: AMM, ICAO: OJAI) (Arabic: مطار الملكة علياء الدولي‎; transcribed: Matar al-Malikah 'Alya' ad-Dowaly) is an airport located in Zizya (زيزياء) area , 20 land mile (32 kilometre) southward of Amman, the capital town of Jordan. The airport has 3 depots: 2 rider depots and 1 freight depot. It is the place hub of Royal Jordanian Airlines, the national flag bearer, as good as being a major hub for Jazeera Airways, Emirates, Gulf Air and Jordan Aviation. It was built in 1983.

The airport is named after Queen Alia, the 3rd married woman of King Hussein of Jordan, who was assassination in an air crash in 1977.

Future enlargement
